The story

I’ve always needed the freedom to create. 

In 2020, after years of chasing a very different idea of success, I stopped and asked myself what I actually wanted. The answer was simple: community, creativity, sustainability and a life that felt meaningful.

Somehow, that brought me back to clothes.

I’ve loved clothes since I was a teenager, not fashion for fashion’s sake, but craftsmanship, character and the freedom to express who I am and how I feel.

My years volunteering in a charity shop has shown me just how much clothing ends up as waste. At the same time, women at my flea market stall were telling me they wanted something they couldn't find anywhere else. They are all hunting for that one unique piece. 

So I started making it.

Sussurro is where all of those things meet: my love of creativity, my belief in women, my obsession with clothes and my desire to make something that matters.

I believe getting dressed is far more than superficial.

It’s one of the ways we tell the world, and ourselves, who we are.
